Winter Nights in the Mother Lode, 2008

The Asatru Folk Assembly’s annual Winter Nights gathering is set for October 23^rd through 26^th, 2008. AFA members will come to Nevada City from all across the country (and from around the world!) to honor the Holy Powers and share our vision for the future of our organization and explore the theme of “Empowering the Folk.”

We’ll meet in the Veterans Hall and Community Center, in the heart of historic downtown Nevada City. Sightseeing is a major draw to this gold rush community, and the fall colors should be magnificent. Lodging is plentiful and very accessible.

This will be the fourth year that AFA members have come together at Winter Nights to be with each other, to celebrate our holy rituals, and to learn from each other. Each event has been intense, rich, and memorable - and we’re sure this one will be, too.
