For all of us who follow Asatru the Twelve Days of Yule have come and gone. We have lit our candles, said our words, affirmed the values of our religion. Now the candles stand, their light long gone, ready to be put away for next year. We have made our News Years resolutions, of course, and the more willful among us will actually carry them out. (Most of us will forget them before January passes.)
What's next?
Well, for starters, how about joining the Asatru Folk Assembly?
This blog reaches a lot of people - most of whom are not AFA members. To all you non-members out there...How about considering changing your status? The AFA can use good men and women who share our beliefs.
We are on the edge of a new year that holds promise and potential - and, no doubt, problems as well, but we'll overcome those. Take a look at our web site, at http://runestone.org. Read our Mission Statement, and our Vision Statement, and our Declaration of Purpose. If you like what you see...ask us about membership!
