My posts have been sparse the last few days - partly because of demands at the job that pays the rent, and partly because I just took some time off and went into the boonies to refresh my soul. There's something about redtail hawks hovering motionless in the breeze, a coyote stalking around the crest of a hill, a mocking bird chirping wildly and joyously, not to mention a fresh sea-breeze and the towering trees that revives the best that is in us and gives us renewed might for the fight!
Ed Abbey was right; it's not enough to write about Nature or even to fight for wilderness - you've got to get out there and experience it!
I'm back now, relaxed and renewed, and gearing up for Winter Nights in the Poconos and all the other things on the AFA agenda! Wahoo!
